A Christian School with a Very Anti-Christian Policy. Today - I just Withdrew my daughter from the Pre-School due to threats from the schools Accountant, Nancy Roper. This person is the most Un-Christian person your will ever meet. She has no place in a school that is attempting to teach Christian Values. We were told by school "sales persons" that we could place our child in Pre-school on a week by week basis to "prepare her" for Kindergarten. Last week was a week long vacation for Spring Break. On the Wednesday following the break I received emails from Nancy Roper DEMANDING payment for the week that there was no school. When I questioned this... Ms. Roper wrote back and said it is school policy to pay even when there is no school. When we asked if our daughter could make up the lost days that we would be FORCED to pay for. Ms. Roper said that the school forbids make up days. She kept telling me to stop complaining and "Just Pay!" She must make cash bonuses based on extra money collected OUTSIDE of actual school fees. She went on to say that If we did not like the school policy we should withdraw our child from the school and Not bring her anymore. She even went so far as to email me the school's "withdrawal form" in some sort of threat: Daring us to withdraw our child. THE NERVE! A Christian School??? We are not the kind of people that take well to threats. So we did as Ms. Roper Dared us to do and withdrew our child from the pre-school.
I went to pick up my child after the class period & saw the teacher playing with her phone & told the children trying to talk to her to 'GO AWAY'. My child has not learned anything from this school in 3 weeks and it took the teacher just as long to inform me that there was homework & no cubby space available for my child. It also took the school 3 weeks to provide my child with the uniform that I paid for. Only after I brought these things to the attention of the teacher and principal were the issues (sort of) addressed. My older child has been attending this school for 3 years so it was only natural to enroll my younger child. Now I wish that I hadn't enrolled either of them!
