Great Beginnings Child Care

We are a play based program with highly qualified staff and a QRIS/SPARK 5* rating. Our program offers early childhood learning experiences that are built into the routines of our day, are child directed, following the Creative Curriculum studies as we weave our way through their interests and the natural rhythms of our seasons. We are proud of the extensive child based outdoor area we have created for our littles that features an outdoor classroom, Mud Kitchen, Neighborhood Garden, Sensory Garden, Large Climbing Structure Water Wall and a plethora or riding apparatus’. We welcome all cultures and learning styles putting a strong emphasis on supporting families and community. It is our strong belief that play is the foundation in the house of higher education. Great Beginnings is where loving and learning go heart to heart and hand in hand.
We base our learning experiences and days on a set of seven core principles: Read, Create, Sing, Move, Observe, Discuss & Play. Through these principles, environmental facilitation & child directed focus, kids are able to safely explore their world, concepts & hypothesis, as well as create what is within them.
