Our grandson – 2 and a half year old, came to stay with us for a few weeks during this summer and since we were working we needed a daycare for him. My colleague recommended Good News! Child Care center - her children went there. Good news accepted him for as long as we needed and for 6 weeks our grandson spend the days there. It was a very difficult time for him – new place, new teachers, new kids…But the teachers in his group were so kind, understanding and caring. They gave him the additional attention and spent an extra time with him to make him get used to the new environment and the other kids in the group. The first day after crying for hour and a half I picked him up. But on the second day he stayed the whole day and did not have problems till the end. And everybody else was so nice and helpful, ready to do whatever is necessary to make the children happy. They made sure he was fine so that we could go to work without worrying about him. For that we are very appreciative and grateful. And our grandson did great. He had a wonderful time and learned new things. He enjoyed very much the art projects, the bike week and the ice-cones, his new friends. If we ever need a childcare place in the future Good News! Child Care will be the first place to look at. We highly recommend it. It is nice, clean, the kids section is very well decorated with paintings, lots of books to look at and toys to play with and caring, patient staff to look after them.The food is good and the daily reports give you an idea of the day you child had.
We love it there! Being a first time mom and dropping off my son when he was 12 weeks old made me nervous. But the care that he's received makes me feel SO much better. Their staff is wonderful and I feel very confident with him in their care.
Our 2 year old daughter has received excellent care since she was an infant. She amazes us daily with how much she learns at Good News!
We have attended Good News for almost 7 years. Both of my daughters started when they were 12 weeks old. My oldest is almost 7 and my youngest is almost 4.
I was so sad and nervous to leave my daughter when I went back to work. Good News was recommended by a friend at my work who had sent both of her children through starting school and for after school.
Good News has been wonderful! I truly believe that the staff cares for all the children. You can see it in the way they interact and how the children interact with them. Both of my girls always give hugs and talk about their teachers. There have been many times when they wanted to stay and play when we have come to pick them up.
My oldest is in 1st grade this year and she still wants to come back to see the teachers. She has a favorite that she LOVES, and although she is doing great in school, she still wishes she was in her class at Good News. She was so excited to be able to be there again over the summer.
I also am thankful for a daycare that incorporates God into their learning. Yesterday morning we walked in and the classes were singing Christmas carols. I LOVE that! It made me smile and tear-up.
