I am a member of the Golden Isles Y and the child center disappointed me on October 14 when during a Zumba class we found a child, no more than 1, walking around without supervision. No one was surprised due to the lack of leadership and organization of that child center. My fellow member took the child to the front lobby and a regular staff member came to get the child. The manager of the child center didn't bother to show up. I am disappointed that nothing has been done and no one held accountable for a child going missing without anyone noticing. That is terrifying. I wouldn't recommend the child center but the classes at the Y are great.
