Write a review about Bambini Academy Preschool II. Let other families know what’s great, or what could be improved. Please read our brief review guidelines to make your review as helpful as possible.
I am totally agree with the review before by "Responsible Parent".
This school have a beautiful installations, but nothing more to offer to your child.
The school make a lot of advertising in the Playground with natural grass or The Atelier, and totally true, the playground generally is a mess in summer due to rain and in cold months is very ugly, too. The Atelier is used once a week, the rest of the days kids works in classroom.
In addition, the school follows the Miami Dade Calendar for Public School, so your child will be many days at home or you will be making arrangements with friends and family to care of she/he. Also, the Global Village Preschool (preschool, right?) have a lot of days free for "planification purposes"...more days free to the school.......If you want to know more "CONS" make yourself a review of the Enrollment Agreement, where the school have all the rights and parents just follow the rules...you must to sign the enrollment without choice. Orher thing the monthly payment are higher than other preschools in Doral area.
Please, don’t allowed yourself to be impress with GVP’s facilities; beyond the “nice facilities” the preschool does not have anything else to offer; and believe me, my standards are high since my child attended a preschool accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
My daughter cried every single day at Global Village - even she was used to be at school they keep telling me that it is normal for kids to cry; “eventually” they will adapt but my girl never adapted.
The school is not even a work in progress; to name a few examples of its areas of improvement:
• My daughter still has a mark in her neck from a deep scratch that both - the teacher and the director - failed in report it to me; when inquired they just told me that they forgot to do the paper work.
• The director attended the school even do she had a throat infection - my kid got a similar condition and was sick for two weeks.
• I saw an assistant professor - a lady that barely speaks English – cleaning the room using Clorox while the kids were inside; one of them almost played with the bottle.
• Even do it has a beautiful atelier, I never saw my child using it, it is more to “sell the place” than for the students to play and learn.
• My child didn’t learn anything while there but aggressiveness and became very sad.
I can’t emphasis’ this more, be aware of the GVP enrollment contract; if for any reason you need to withdrawal your child – he/she got sick, job relocation, family moved far away from the school, or as a parent you want your child to attend a different school, GVP will apply “used car salesman” tactics to enforce you to pay the complete school year; however, the called enrollment contract is not more that an unconscionable contract. Do yourself a great favor, stay away from this place.
