Description: A Quaker-affiliated program, the George School Children's Center is a community of children, teachers, and parents engaged in creating a safe and open environment where children learn through collaborative exploration with one another and with the adults who nurture them.
Using positive guidance techniques and coaching children in developing problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, we foster social and emotional development and promote self-regulation, an important factor in future scholastic success.
From September through June we offer half-day preschool for children ages two through five with extended-care options available and full-day programs for children ages six weeks through five years.
