Gateway Child Development Center

My child  did not receive the proper care.  The center appeared to be short staffed.  I always received conflicting information from staff who lacks communication within the center.  Staff did not communicate well with me.  My child's food was prepared incorrectly, breast-milk did not get its proper care and wasted daily.  My child was consistently sick.  Shoe covers were worn in the streets.    Someone there twisted my child's hair and the same day my child was not given water.  Three diaper rashes, a cut on the genital area.  They never noted  when my child had naps, how much my child ate.  Difficulty maintaining the diapers and wipes inventory, etc. I've witness caregivers, playing adult music, yelling at other infants and children.  Don't let the look of the center deceive you to think your infant will receive the best care.  They don't like when parents visit as you will be quickly pushed out the door.  My child was dismissed and I was told to not return when I made a surprise visit and discovered that they disregard my instructions was still mixing baby fruit with vegetables, serving it ice cold, but I was told it was MICROWAVED.  I stayed to feed my child correctly and explain again how my child should be fed.  I was told to leave while I was feeding my child.
