Description: Redwood Elementary School is one of twenty-nine elementary schools in the Fontana Unified School District. It is a single-track year round school serving approximately 762 students in preschool through sixth grade. Our team includes 36 certificated classroom teachers and numerous certificated and classified support staff. Our school is approximately 87.7% Latino, 6.8% White/Non-Hispanic, and 3.4% African American. 57% of our students are English Learners, of which 38% has achieved English Proficiency according the 2006 CELDT test results. Our API score is 752 out of a possible 1000.Â
