Description: Frost has the only self-contained Fourth through Sixth Grade Gifted and Talented Program (LEAP) in our district. It has the only self-contained French Back-to-Back Program in the state. Frost services a number of Special Needs Programs within our building. There is an outstanding music facility for vocal music, a full size gymnasium, and two locations where students enjoy lunch.
The Frost Elementary staff is committed to doing whatever it takes to help our students achieve. Each classroom teacher works on a team, addressing the importance of learning styles, social and emotional development, and curriculum integration. They team in core academic areas such as math, science, social studies and language arts. This school-wide collaborative approach has allowed teachers to focus on the important district objectives and state benchmarks in our core academic areas.
