Friends Playhouse has been open for one year and eleven months. We have a four star rating and a superior sanitation grade. Every classroom uses creative curriculum in order to create developmentally appropriate lesson plans.

I received a detailed description from my son concerning instances of him being spanked by his teachers in the three’s class. These allegations have understandably raised significant concerns, leading to my decision to withdraw my son. He is exceptionally bright and alert, with no reason to fabricate stories, and his narrative has remained consistent since he first informed me.
When the incident was brought up to the teachers, assistant directors, and the center’s director, everyone was in ‘cahoots,’ and not a single staff member remained neutral during the meeting. Immediate support was given to the teachers, and the matter was quickly dismissed.
I should have sensed a problem when my son clung to my leg every morning during drop-offs at this daycare center. I am filled with deep remorse for allowing my child to attend this place.
This childcare center is absolutely amazing! My daughter has been going there since 2010 and would not place her anywhere else. She has learned so much and continues to grow into a wonderful young lady. They have great core values, teach amazing lessons and even in the after school room do they continue to learn!! I love it there and could not imagine not having these ladies to help me raise my child.
This daycare is very clean, the teachers are very nice, and the children seem very happy when I am in there. I have a child in there who is an afterschooler and has been going there since she was a year and a half. She loves it there and I could not be happier. I go into the other classrooms to see the other teachers and their interaction with the children is amazing and I am very thankful to have them.
I am thankful to bring my child to this daycare!!! My child is so happy to come to daycare everyday and the teachers are very happy to see my child everyday!! These teachers treat my child like there own and not like some number in the classroom. I love that they can remember my child’s birthday, what they like and don’t like and how to handle her when she is having a hard time. It is not like other daycares I have been to and I def would not choose any other place. Thank you Friends Playhouse for everything you have done for me and my child!!!!
My daughter has been going here since she was six weeks old and she is now in the three year old room the teachers there are so loving to the kids and my child is so happy when she seeher teachers every morning even other teachers who are not her normal teachers... she always learning something new there...and always coming home singing a new song she learn...Ms Lyz...Ms Heather and Ms Deborah are three amazing individuals and they are always helping me out especially when my child may be having a three year old moment...these three ladies bend over backwards for everybody who enters the daycare....children....teachers.... and parents... I love this place and my child does to. ??
My 2 year old son has been going to here since he was 1years old. Things turned for the worse when he went to the 2year old class. We have had several incidents where the teachers do not properly supervise the children, and will then lie on the incident reports. I found this out when I would go back and review the tape with Liz, the director, and saw that what was said on the incident report wasn't at all what happen to my son. I have pulled my son out of the this daycare as of March 21, 2018 after a teacher from a different class gave us a note that read "watch the video from Tuesday and Monday." Then the teacher said that my son was being mistreated. Once I watched the video with the director Liz, I saw that my son was being placed in time-out and left there from 15-20minutes, the assistant teacher Nikki(whom is her sister in-law) also PUT MY SON IN TIMEOUT IN THE BATHROOM AND LEFT HIM IN THERE. The footage from Monday showed my son, and other kids, being placed in time out and just left there. Then, I saw where the same teacher Nikki FORCEFULLY pushed my son by his head out of the room when he wasn't moving fast enough. I was so furious!! Liz said it herself that she was upset by what she saw and reassured me that she and the owner Deborah would write up Nikki and the lead teacher Kristen for this and Nikki would also get fired for forcefully putting her hands on my son. That did not at all happen. Deborah, the owner, called me on the phone afterwards and basically made excuses for why Nikki but her hands on my son, and why she also put my son in timeout in the nasty bathroom. Deborah said that they put kids in timeout in the bathroom if they feel the child needs quiet time. She also said that Nikki was frustrated with my 2year old son, totally putting the blame on him. She said that they will take Nikki out of the 2year class because she is overwhelmed, and will make her a "floater". But wasn't going to fire her.This daycare is unprofessional, uneducated, unsanitary,they don't follow a curriculum, and is owned by a women that does not care about the well being of the children in her center.They have lied to me and family on numerous occasions and are clearly okay with teachers bullying and mistreating kids. What happen to my son was disgusting. Every time I think about my son being left in the bathroom and forcefully pushed, hurts me to my core.
My daughter has attended this daycare since she was 6 months old and we love it. She is always happy there and I am very happy with the care she receives. The teachers are wonderful and the administrators communicate well with parents.
Very unprofessional places. I have did an eye count serval of times and the classes were out of ratio. Teachers are never in the rooms. Kids don't have cot sheets to sleep on. Do a surprise visit anytime I bet you will a lot of violations.
Our son spent a very brief time period at this facility and we would NOT recommend this "child care center to another parent! The owner and administration is VERY unprofessional as well as uneducated in the area in which they claim to specialize in. The establishment is extremely out dated and lacking technological advancements not to mention the utilities and classrooms are below standard expectations. While preaching that they are "not doctors", they assume that they are experienced enough to make diagnosis' and take it upon themselves to aggressively attack parents in front of others, including children, proclaiming false accusations and proving their ignorance. Not only did we witness the "security" door left wide open multiple times and other children running around wildly and unsupervised, the facility has a severe sewage issue which creates a terrible odor which is appalling and embarrassing as a parent of a child attending this center. Long story short, spend the extra $10-$20 a week for a reputable and respectable daycare center or a in-home daycare
Do not believe what the other people say about how awful the facility is. Absolutely insane allegations! I have 2 children at this facility and I haven't had ANY problems and both of them started at 6 weeks old. The teachers are wonderful, and Debra is truly a blessing too. They treat my kids like one of their own! I can call any of the staff whenever, even on the weekends if I need to. I don't trust just anyone with my children and it says a lot when my child wants to go to daycare even on the weekends! I am so lucky that I found this daycare, would recommend it to everyone!!
I'm not sure why all these ratings are so low! My 2 have been going there for a while, my 3 year old since he was 2 and my 4 month old who started at 6 weeks. They have been nothing but accommodating for me and my family and they treat my children with nothing but love and respect. I call daily for reports and am able to speak to their teachers at will. Their rates are very reasonable and they work with me if I am not able to pay weekly. A fantastic daycare to say the least! All these other parents up here are a little mislead and I wanna say they are idiotic!
Excellent child care center. My Children have been there since they opened. The staff at Friends Playhouse is highly qualified, but more importantly they are filled with love. They treat my children as if they were their own, which makes dropping them off everyday much easier. The center is clean, the children get healthy meals and most importantly they have fun. Ms.Debra and the teachers have become part of my family.
I honestly have no idea how this place passes assessments or sanitation. Cockroach infestation in the infant 2 room, teachers with Starbucks in the classrooms, yelling at children, yanking children up, wandering the halls with children, especially the infants. The director isn't knowledgable of her job, she doesn't make eye contact and rarely leaves her chair. Pinteresting is very important, not the staff or paper work. The place has potential but their staff needs a huge and I mean HUGE revamp. I don't appreciate hearing attitudes or gossip towards each other and there seems to be a lot of that lately. Also the hiding behind the "I'm a Christian" bit is see through, the way people act and treat each other is not very Christian.
Mrs. Debra is a very unique person. She cares about all her employees and families. She will bend overbackwards for her employees & families. Friends Playhouse is Great place to have your child. If my child was able to go to Friends Playhouse, I would love to do so. The teachers are awesome, friendly and they love each one of their kids like they were their own. The above comments are very wild, crazy and not true!
Owner is a fraud!! She & her daughter are not in this business for the kids, they are in it for $$$, only. Children are restrained for behavior, employees are not qualified, as well as Debra. Debra lineberry only cares about outward appearances. And once your child is attending daycare there, watch the true unimaginable begin. No child should EVER be at friends playhouse!!! Your child is NOT safe there!!! They have a high teacher turnover rate, as well as kids...they are liars, so don't be fooled by the supposed "Christian" affiliations! It's only a front! Owner is pure evil, & unfortunately I've witnessed this thru Letting my child go there! Biggest mistake EVER!
awful daycare they drag children by the arm.the director sleeps while children sleep also...owners use money to go on family vacations and she yells at parents and staff. she also lies to state when they come tour daycare. teachers take meds and a child there found meds on floor and almost ate it. i do not trust this center the owners lie to much. i will not ever put my child in there again. not worth the money!
