Foothills Faith Academy - Infant

We do not recommend this center! Our experience was that (1) the leadership has very little knowledge of child development, (2) the knowledge and practices they do have are about 30 years out of date, and (3) their communication with parents is abysmal. As long as Greg and Jo are responsible for this preschool/infant center, you should look elsewhere. After receiving no daily information, we were blindsided by an email from the Director threatening to suspend our child for having typical behaviors that are common and expected for her age. We asked for regular updates, which we then started to receive. These updates showed immense improvement with our child. We were again unexpectedly threatened by the Director and told that the daily reports her team provided were inaccurate and that there was no improvement. When asked what they had done in the past to be successful with other students who have these typical and expected developmental behaviors, they had no answer. Their strategy is to suspend or expel any student that does not behave perfectly, to do so as a surprise to the parents, and with little to no collaboration or partnership with the family. After understanding this, we quickly pulled our child from the center.
