Description: Florence Christian School was established in 1972 as a ministry of the Florence Baptist Temple to assist families in the training of their children intellectually, spiritually, physically, and socially toward maturity and responsible independence. In August of that year 54 students enrolled in grades K - 3. The sixteen students in the Class of '79 were the first to graduate from Florence Christian School.
