Description: The Child Development Center has been serving children of Greater Indianapolis for more than eight decades. Built upon the laurels of value based education, high family involvement, and cutting edge experiences the center has touched the lives of thousands of children. Flanner House Child Development Center obtained its NAEYC accreditation in November 2005 which distinguishes us with a very select group of preschools throughout the country. In Room 9 with school-agers: there is a light blue bucket containing cleaning items, Clorox spray, Disinfectant wipes, Meyer’s cleaner spray, and glass cleaner spray. In the Turtles room: there is Betco cleaning spray on top of a toy shelf and Vasaline in a cubby accessible to children. In the Infant room: under the sink there is Dawn soap and Clorox wipes. In the Butterflies room: under the sink there are 6 cleaning sprays, Bleach, and Pine Sol. In the cabinet next to it there is Zevo instant spray and under the changing table there is hand sanitizer and sunscreen spray. In the Panda room: there is Super Sorb under the sink. In the Panda room a staff purse is under the sink in a cabinet and In the Turtles room a staff purse is hanging from a cubby hook, both accessible to children which is not safe.
