About the Provider

The First United Methodist Preschool believes that every child is a child of God first. We believe that the lesson of God's love for each and every one of them is something the children will carry with them throughout their lives. A child learns by doing, therefore we shall provide various modes of hands on materials for the children to succeed in this way of development. The classroom is arranged with interest centers such as art, blocks, home living, library and manipulatives, just to name a few. Children are encouraged to initiate and participate in free play experiences. A gym and playground are designed to stimulate a child's gross motor skills. It is the responsibility of the preschool to know appropriate education of each age level. We feel that creating a good self-image is important to each child who attends.
