Description: In the fall of 1988, some young parents in our church saw a need for quality childcare in the North Myrtle Beach area. The plans for a child development center began to unfold and the center was voted in. August 1989, a dream became a reality. First Baptist Child Development Center opened its doors to the community and was the first church in North Myrtle Beach to successfully combine daycare and pre-school in a Christian environment.
