Euclid Cooperative Preschool

Our Mission is provide each child with developmentally appropriate opportunities to acquire the social competence, knowledge and skills they need to succeed as lifetime learners. We believe that through play students obtain knowledge and skills, develop independence, initiative, decision-making skills, responsibility and problem- solving skills.

Our learning goals and objectives are based upon the four areas of child development: social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language as well as the content areas of literacy, math, science, social studies and the arts. Through child-initiated and teacher- directed instruction, we address the educational needs of all children while allowing then to explore, share and create in a supportive, stress- free, safe, stimulating, nurturing classroom community.

Our Curriculum, The Creative Curriculum, is in alignment with the Ohio Early Learning and Development Standards.

Being a member of a cooperative preschool allows parents and families to play a significant part in their child's preschool experience. Through attendance at membership meetings, participation in the classroom, and parent-teacher conferences, parents, teachers and children have an opportunity to develop unique relationships that ultimately promote children's learning and development.
