I wish I could put "0 stars" on this because it doesn't deserve my one star. Do NOT put your child in this daycare. I have nothing good to say about it. The director treats the children like dirt. I know this because I worked there for about a month or more. She talks to the children like their her own. It is cluddered, not clean, and she can't ever keep staff. All she cares about is the money. And she goes on a smoke break like every hour or every 30 minutes. She also mixes the age groups together at the end of the day and I'm more than positive that's against DHS rules. She has no idea what she's doing at all. Your child will get treated like crap if you put him/her there. She also puts on an act when parents arrive. She acts all nice and loving and professional but when the parents leaves, she's back to the way she always is. She's selfish, lazy and rude. Not just to the kids but to the staff. She's the most immature person I have ever met. And she definitely does NOT deserve to be running a daycare. I have so many things I could say but that would take too long. Don't settle, especially when it comes to your child. I work at a different daycare now and essentially kids doesn't have anything on this place. It's awful. DO NOT send your child here, the director might just lose the child...
Do your homework and look up dhs complaints and history. Don't believe ANYTHING the director, owner or owners daughter shovels, it's a for PROFIT center and your kids will pay. They are so sweet and act christ like to your face but once you bring up an issue with your child, you see the wolf in sheep's clothing. When the daily sheet says your child ate "everything" (if you even get a sheet) it means "ran out of food". Cheesy noodles is mac&cheese with lima beans thrown in for protien. Most of the staff refuse to eat what is served to the kids. Underpaid, undertrained workers struggling to maintain control of classrooms. Teachers and Director cursing loudly. Fussing at each other and yelling at the kids. What the class looks like when you drop of doesn't get better. The things we've recently learned is as made up as diaper changes. Children will be moved around to balance child/ teacher ratios. The director and past directors are dictators. You always see them outside smoking. They often leave the facility to run errands or go get more cigarettes. They cover for each other and make up lies to tell in the event dhs comes in or the owner. They are the cheapest in town for a reason!
I would never recommend this place to anyone with children, ESPECIALLY those with disabilities. All they ever seem to care about is the money, and not the children. That's all they talk about. The owners daughter has no problem chastising and reprimanding teachers IN FRONT of the children, which is not okay no matter WHAT the teacher did. They move autistic children from room to room, because they won't fight it, and go through teachers and directors like my cats do food. Rarely do the teachers actually TEACH, but they do art to make it seem as such. Even when a teacher tries, they are hindered by the lack of funds for supplies, and usually pay for them themselves. They move kids from room to room throughout the day to stay in ratio, instead of hire a second teacher. both genders share bathrooms with three toilets and no separations, so even when it's girls go at a time, then boys, there isn't even the slightest semblance of privacy. The only thing going for them is that they try to keep the place clean, and at least try to stay in ratio.
