Description: EduKids Early Childhood Centers have been the leaders and innovators in childcare and kindergarten readiness programming in Western New York since 1989. We opened our first early childhood center in Orchard Park, New York in September of that year after founder Nancy Ware searched extensively for a high quality, educationally focused child care program for her own son. Disappointed at the poor quality and limited programs available to families in WNY, Mrs. Ware envisioned opening an outstanding facility with an experienced and loving staff; a place where families would truly feel they were bringing their children to a home away from home. Today, her original vision and mission remain at the heart and soul of every EduKids Center. The finest facility, the very best staff!

| Brief Description: Every applicant for the position of director, teacher, or volunteer with the potential for regular and substantial contact with children after this regulation becomes effective must complete the Office-approved training pre-service or within three months of starting such position, or by September 30, 2017, whichever is later. Any director or teacher who has not completed the training, but will be completing the training within the first three months of starting such position, must not be left unsupervised with children in care until such time as the training has been completed. The person supervising the individual must have completed the Office-approved training that complies with the federal minimum health and safety pre-service training requirements. | |||
