Description: Educare's program integrates high quality child care services and early childhood education supporting a "whole child" concept of development based on the belief that one cannot educate without offering care and protection and one cannot provide care and protection without also educating young children in a group setting. Educare is committed to implementing developmentally appropriate practices and to promoting the healthy growth of the whole child by meeting their individual emotional, social, intellectual, physical, and emerging cultural needs. Educare's child development program is built on the research-based theory that a child's growth is a sequential process and that children pass through predictable stages of development in all areas and within age ranges. A team teaching approach is practiced in each age group. Together the professional staff plans program goals, objectives, and curriculum intended to meet the children's individual development needs.

my daughter went there for about five months. her teacher, nor the main Kay did not know my child's name. they called her something similar, but not her name . also, they would spell her name wrong on pictures she colored . a child learns to recognize/read their name by sight , this upset me because it's guiding her to think what they are calling her , or how they were writing her name was right . her name is cayleigh . they called her kylie . a voicemail on my phone making sure I was going to pay "kylies daycare cost" was what set it off .
another thing , there was plenty times I witnessed yelling . another teacher, or kitchen aid or whatever she was would take whichever children were in trouble into the kitchen area & yell at them to a point they were crying . that's ridiculous . form of punishment should not be a telling spree , rather than Time out , & redirection as you all tell us when us parents ask how you handle discipline .
another issue ,. when I was shown/ walked around the school they made it seem like a really nice school. talking about a f orm that gets filled out everyday based off what they ate, how they child interacted , what that child was feeling that day , etc. and would put it in child's folder everyday. I never seen that form. upon asking if they did it that day , they would respond "oh, miss *** must of forgot it today" . after I filled out the paperwork for my daughter to be enrolled, I felt very happy that I chose a good school... until the first morning I brought her at 645( they open at 630). the head lady let me in with a very nasty rude look , did not say good morning, did not make me feel comfortable at all.. I did not want to leave my scared first time in daycare 3yr old with this lady, b:(:( when I have to be at work at 7am what else was I supposed to do??
I could go on& on about this school. I would never ever recommend this daycare, & I hope I helped with your decision on daycare choices!!!
