Day 1 at this facility: When dropping off, I was told that pickup was 2:00 and not 2:30 that I had been told. The important information about me dropping and picking up was not there, even though my daughter had given it on the application. I was told that I would be given a toothbrush and thermometer for important dental and health screening at pickup. I arrived a few minutes before the pickup at 1:50. A teacher came out to tell me pickup was at 2:30 and that they had not been able to reach my daughter, so I could not pick up. After giving my ID and calling my daughter, the consent was finally given for me to take my grandchild home this one time. The teacher went inside, I wrongly assumed that she was going to get my grandchild, but people kept walking up and getting their children, so I finally walked up and was given my grandchild. The thermometer and toothbrush were not mentioned. I felt judged the entire time. Perhaps, these employees are overwhelmed and need more help? I'm just a grandma trying to help out with the grandchild. I hope that what goes on inside the building is the opposite of what went on this morning.
