The Early Childhood Development Center is part of Asheboro City Schools. Our center is fully inclusive and serves three and four year old children. ECDC is a 5 Star center and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Adult Education classes are available for parents of preschoolers on site at ECDC. A five star preschool classroom is also located at Teachey Elementary School.

All corrosive agents, pesticides, bleaches, detergents, cleansers, polishes, any product which is under pressure in an aerosol dispenser, and any substance which may be hazardous to a child if ingested, inhaled, or handled were not stored in a locked room or cabinet. In space 105, there was an unlocked cabinet that had 3 containers of sanitizer wipes and one bottle of Goo Gone. In space 102, there was an unlocked cabinet with several different cleaning supplies.

Parent’s statement includes the child’s name and date of enrollment and the date the parent signed the statement. Three of the ten children's files that were monitored did not have the enrollment date.
