Never in my life have i experienced such rude and unprofessional behavior from a preschool/daycare and I have 3 kids and at one point was a preschool teacher for 5 years. My husband and I are searching for part time care for our 2 year old and called a couple days ago and left a message to get some information and schedule a tour but they never returned our call. We decided to drive over to their facility to get tuition and availability information and schedule a tour. When we arrived we ran the door bell and some older, heavy set lady with disheveled brown hair came to the door and was instantly rude asking what we needed and telling us she was busy with paperwork. I was instantly put off with her "don't have time for you" attitude but still informed her we had called and left a message a couple of days ago requesting information. We had my 2 year and autistic 8 year old with us when she asked what age we were looking for. I informed her we were looking for our 2 year old and with attitude explained the tuition was $250 a week for full time. I asked if she had any paperwork with the tuition pricing and she told me know. She then asked when we needed care and I informed her we were looking for something as soon as soon as possible. She then scoffed at us with some weird noise and said she was full. I then asked her if I couldn schedule a tour of the school. Her response was "what for?" I was taken back by the rude response and told her, I was interested in touring the school to see if I would like it for my son. She then told me why would she waste HER time giving me a tour when she was full. I looked at her crazy and asked if she was going to full all through the year. She said yes and said she didn't want to waste HER TIME scheduling a tour for us. I cut her off and told her I don't even like her and her attitude so forget it.
No offer of a waiting list, no greeting, not one smile to our 2 year old or my 8 year old autistic son, just rude, loud and unprofessional. Definitely not someone who should be working with children. I hope whoever owns this facility addresses this womens outrageous behavior. I would be embarrassed having someone like that greeting anyone coming to their school.
