It is a small group of children being cared for in a home environment by wonderful, kind and loving people. It’s like the fun times when you and your cousins all got together at your grandparents house. Diane is a wonderful woman that loves her kids. My son loves to go to (as the kids call her) “memaw” house. It’s a fun day with warm home cooked meals and healthy snacks. The kids are well taken care of, have a (flexible) schedule and routines . Like any good Memaw she sneaks in important learning through play; social skills, how to be responsible for their things, helping out, participate in a group, taking turns, being patient and sharing, the list goes on and on. It’s really the absolute best. I am grateful to have my son somewhere that I never have to worry if he is receiving proper care or getting lost in a room full of kids with one frazzled caregiver.
