Description: Demarest Co-op offers the enrichment of the pre-school child's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth guided by professional teachers and assisted by participating parents. The school offers a warm and caring environment for your child's first school experience and provides the lifelong gift of a love for school and learning. In keeping with the above philosophy, the school offers individual acceptance and knows how important it is for each child to be accepted as he or she is. Children thrive in the child size world of the co-op and are ready for kindergarten when they finish at the co-op. The children will find themselves in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where they can explore, share, play and communicate with other children their own age. Music and science classes are offered as part of the curriculum, along with field trips and community visits. The co-op is a very special place for your child to learn and grow!
