Findings: Upon inspection, provider had her father residing in the home and using living room space during the day. During inspection, he was sitting on a recliner, watching television in the child care area which is also the main child care space that the provider uses. The entire 2nd floor is approved, except for the kitchen. However, the dining room space appears to be being used for provider's father and is also a cluttered space. In the living room, provider has one table and several chairs that she uses for the children in care, however, the table and the area underneath/surrounding the table is cluttered with papers, bags, decorations, etc which would make it difficult for children to have clear space to eat, play and engage. Provider should plan to clean the cluttered areas of the child care space and ensure that there is adequate space for children to play and engage. If this not possible, provider will need to decrease capacity. Provider should send corrections to OCC ASAP. | |||
