Description: Daisy Bates Elementary School is a true community school. In 2014-1015 every child will receive an i-pad for school use. We offer wireless access throughout the school, hands on robotics, full multi-media classrooms and much, much more. We offer Discovery and Alpha programs for our gifted and talented students. We feature a full service Special Education department including C.B.I. and S.T.A.R classrooms. We offer one of the most recognized elementary fine arts programs in Arkansas. Students in 3rd, 4th & 5th grade are eligible for the Orchestra specialty program. Every child receives free breakfast in the classroom every morning in a nurturing environment. With thirty-five highly qualified teachers, a student to staff ratio of 10 to 1, strong community support and committed parental support, we know it takes a community to raise a child.
