Crystale's Little Scholars is located in Lincoln Crossing in Northern California. We are a large in home family child care and preschool since 2012. The entire downstairs area is dedicated to the preschool and childcare. You will see no adult furniture at all. The downstairs is broken up into sections such as dramatic play, science, math, block, reading, art and eating area. The baby and infant room is separated and has a gate to keep out the older children. There is a backyard with toys for the children to play in. We have a daily schedule that we follow and try to include all toddlers 2 and up in preschool practices. We like outside time and take walks regularly. We have strollers for the little ones and include in the walks.
There are three staff members that attend to the children. A morning assistant and an afternoon assistant help assist the main teacher and owner throughout the day. The main teacher and owner has a degree in Early Childhood Education and also has a master teacher certificate. She was a student teacher for two semesters in a preschool classroom. She also worked in a center as the lead teacher in the infant and toddler classroom. We offer a safe, clean, loving, nurturing environment. We practice positive reinforcement and encourage the children to talk out their problems with one another by using their words. We are also here to work with together with the family through any situations that occur. We have an open door policy and parents are welcome to stop by anytime to visit.
