I don’t even know where to begin with this review. I did a Google search for daycares in my area, and Cradle 2 Crayons was on the search results that returned. I am so happy & thankful that I found this gem of a daycare! My son has not even been attending for a year, & I swear this staff already feels like family to us!!! Ms. Wanda (the owner) is extremely passionate & committed to the development of the kids in her center, both educationally and socially, and her staff all employ the same level of passion & commitment! They all have a very loving and compassionate demeanor, & of course this important & comforting to a parent! In less than a year, Ms Wanda & her staff have worked closely with my 4 year old and taught him colors in Spanish, he can count for days (if I let him) he can do his entire alphabet in sign language, he can spell & write a host of kindergarten spelling words, he can do basic arithmetic, he knows his planets, & sooo much more. Every week, the staff sends the preschoolers home with a packet of homework, & not only can my son complete the work comfortably, but he is eager & excited to show me what he has learned through the week! I literally could go on, and on about this center, because that’s how impressed I am with their service. And truthfully what I’ve left in this review is probably a HUGE understatement! I highly recommend that you explore this center for yourself if you’re in search of a family oriented environment & quality educational center for your child! Oh, & let me not forget to also mention that her prices are BEYOND reasonable! I love this place, & I’m a little saddened at the thought that my son will be leaving to go to kindergarten next school year, but 110% positive that with the development he’s received this year that he will be MORE than ready! Thank you Cradle 2 Crayons!!! ????????
My grandchild was 1 year old when he started his first year of preschool/Daycare at Cradle2Crayons Learning Center, He is now 4 years old and he has grown up so much in the areas of both socialization and academics. They use the perfect blend of firmness and love to encourage positive interactions among the children, fun play times and productive learning times. He loves his teachers, and loves going to school in fact, she is very close to being able to read, and I have no doubt that he will be reading soon in addition, he has been exposed to math, music, art, science, etc, and even learns sign language and Spanish.
Communication between the school and families are excellent and the teachers are very approachable and open to addressing individual needs. I have been especially pleased with the multiracial aspects of the school, and I would encourage any family interested in providing a quality preschool/Daycare experience for their child to give very strong consideration to Cradle2Crayons Learning Center.
My husband and I trusted this center with my 26mo old son. This was the very first time he was ever away from family and friends. I felt that the staff caring for my son was very loving, caring and understading that he was having a hard time adjusting to being away from "mommy". I was told by the director that he was having server separations anxiety. The center was clean and very structure, which i loved. We where even told that the following Monday, the children were to be in uniform. My husband went to purchase uniform excited by the school like feel. Unfortunately, we were told that Tuesday that my son could only attend the following day and not permitted to return after (one day notice) due to "he cries too much". Registration fee and purchase uniform wasted! I asked for a two week notice in order to find a new center. She stated im not in a contract so the answer was no. She recommended a family member whom watch one other child at her home. Due to the one day notice, I would not recommend this center if your child cries.
