Amanda LaRochelle Director/Owner I have been working with children of all ages for over 15 years and have been the Director of another center for six years. I have several College classes in Early Childhood Education and am qualified by Child Care Licensing as an Associate Teacher/Director. I have been a certified firefighter over 14 years, an Emergency Medical Technician for over 12. I’m currently on the Epping Fire Department as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, Firefighter and their Safety Officer.
Philosophy We believe that children learn best in a warm, consistent, caring environment that is free from unnecessary clutter, and disorganization. Children are little scientists trying to make sense of the world around them. We give them the opportunities to play, explore, and discover at their own pace. In the classroom and on the playground, we provide age-appropriate materials that are integrated into all aspects of play. Through a game, a song or even an exploration in our Discovery Areas. By providing children with these activities we’re meeting their developmental needs, fostering their abilities and allowing them to move toward their next developmental goal.
