Description: In January 2005, Amber Thompson and Jodi Fitzgerald recognized a growing need for a licensed preschool in Plainfield, Illinois. Since that time, they have created Cornerstone Early Learning Center. Cornerstone began as an innovative in-home preschool. In 2010, they expanded to the current facility. The new school is located on 2-acres of land with plenty of space to run and explore. It is surrounded by beautiful apple trees and corn fields. Cornerstone is licensed by the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), incorporated, and owned by Amber and Jodi.
