Each child was not attended to in a nurturing and appropriate manner, or in keeping with the child's developmental needs. On multiple occasions, two staff members failed to attend to children in a nurturing and appropriate manner and failed to attend to their needs. In February 2020, the following occurred: •a staff member briefly left an infant on the changing table unattended. •staff members inappropriately lifted or handled infants while picking them up for care. •a staff member inappropriately squeezed and pushed an infant's face when feeding the child •staff members routinely placed a blanket over infants' faces while rocking them to sleep. •staff members failed to respond to children that pulled other children's hair and climbing on each other. •staff members failed to promptly remove a cloth covering an infant's face •staff members failed to promptly remove children from cribs when they finished sleeping and highchairs when the children finished eating. | |||
