About the Provider

We offer preschool curriculum for 3-5 year olds. Infants and toddlers thrive in a structured learning environment with teaching toys and individual attention. The Mission at Compass Preschool & Childcare is to provide a quality childcare experience for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Our goal is to promote each child's physical, emotional and social well-being. It is also to provide language and cognitive development in a positive, stimulating and nurturing environment. This is done by maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy atmosphere. At the same time, we offer an abundance of love, positive reinforcement and encouragement. We want the children to feel safe, secure, and valued. This will promote their self-confidence, their willingness to explore and try new things, and will help them develop and maintain relationships. Children who attend Compass Preschool & Childcare feel like this is their home away from home. My Philosophy: At Compass, emphasis is placed on active, hands-on learning experiences. My goal is to prepare youngsters for kindergarten, and get them excited about the process of learning. Children have daily opportunities to interact with their environment in a well-rounded balance of educational and play activities designed to promote their development in each of the six major developmental areas: 1. Large Motor Development 2. Small Motor Development 3. Social/Emotional Development 4. Language Development 5. Cognitive Development 6. Self-Help Skills For more information, or to visit our facility, call 801.942.5396 or email inquiries to [email protected]
