About the Provider
Community Daycare Center is a non profit organization, governed by a board of directors, that provides quality childcare and educational experiences to children from the ages of 2 weeks to 9 years old.
Our goal is to assist families in developing well rounded children. We offer many educational opportunities that foster a lifelong love of learning. We strive to prepare children for kindergarten both academically and socially. Essential educational skills are introduced using developmentally appropriate childcare curriculum. Furthermore, social-emotional skills are developed using the 2nd Step Curriculum. http://www.cfchildren.org/second-step/early-learning.aspx
We participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), through the USDA. Nutritious, family style meals are prepared daily to teach and encourage healthy lifestyles. USDA is an equal opportunity provider and employer.
We are a licensed daycare. Our main center is licensed for 97 children and our second location is licensed for 64 children.
