Built in 1995, College Park Community Center is adjacent to Paint Branch Elementary School and located within the Paint Branch Stream Valley Park along the Anacostia Tributary Trail System. The center features a pre-school room, gymnasium, dance room, multi-purpose room, class/meeting room, and fitness room. A softball field is located outside the center.

Findings: Upon entry into multipurpose room LS informed assigned qualified staff in charge that the children's records need to be reviewed. LS observed that the drawer to the children's records was locked. Assigned staff in charged requested the assistance of the facility personnel to unlock the drawer. The drawer for the children's records, all emergency contact information was not made accessible for at least an additional thirty (30) minutes later. LS inquired about the process if a child had an emergency, what would they do. Because the children's records were locked and made inaccessible, the staff were unable to contact the parents if in the event of an emergency.
