Finds: CITED - High - Warning $200 R381-100-8(2)(a)-(d) - New covered individual background check The provider was out of compliance by not ensuring that a covered individual was found eligible before becoming involved with the child care program. At the time of the inspection, one individual was providing caregiver duties without a background check. This was a repeat rule noncompliance.
Correction verified by the licensor: On 07/10/2024, the licensor verified that the provider had the individual submit the needed items for the background check, and that another caregiver with a background check was in the room and that ratios were maintained, as stated in rule.
