I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Be very careful on using this facility. They do not teach your children. My son has learned more from TV than from the teachers. When there is an issue, they will freak out. Come on... they are toddlers, not soldiers. Also, a few of the teacher lie, or over exaggerate to try to get CPS, Dpss, or the police to take your kids away. I have heard this happen to 3 parents this year alone. Sad... I have had my trouble as well, but luckily I work with CPS. Be careful... this school/day care I would NOT recommend EVER!

About the Provider

Children’s Institute, Inc. (CII) helps children in Los Angeles’s most challenged communities heal from the trauma of family and community violence, build the confidence and skills to break through the barriers of poverty, and grow up to lead healthy, productive lives.

For more than a century we have served the most at-risk and overlooked young people in Los Angeles—those harmed by child abuse, neglect, domestic violence, gang and community violence, as well as the crushing effects of poverty. CII’s Integrated Service Model, which combines evidence-based clinical services, youth development programs, early childhood programs, and family support services, is designed to address the “whole child” as well as the entire family.

Each year, we serve more than 20,000 children and families in Los Angeles County. We have three main campuses—the new Otis Booth Campus (our headquarters) just west of downtown Los Angeles, our Mid-Wilshire Campus in Koreatown, and our Burton E. Green Campus in Torrance. We also have centers in Watts and San Pedro/Long Beach as well as 11 early childhood centers and more than 60 family child care homes throughout the County.

In the next five years, we will be developing our fourth campus, a state-of-the-art facility in Watts.

Our services are offered in English, Spanish and Korean. Learn more about our programs and services. Or download our publication for professionals, Programs and Services for Children, Youth and Families.
