The actual "director" is Shelby, not Mary, according to calling the number and speaking with any other providers in the area.
The director is never there, as she is in Nursing school M_F from 8-4. Is she getting paid?Extremely unethical business practice, not to mention favoritism and nepotism. I expressed my concerns about the director not treating all children fairly after my 2 year old was chased on the playground by her 7 year old. She was running so fast to get away from him that she tripped and fell.
Her older sister came over to defend her,
telling the director's child to leave her alone and she's just a little kid. What happened?
The 7 y o ran to his mommy in the office and cried. My 6 year old and 2 year old were then isolated from all the other children and made to play by themselves, per staff Brooke. The child that violated the "rule of no playing tag or chasing on the playground " got off scott free. Unfortunately, i expressed my concerns third party to another previous provider in the area about the favoritism. Minutes later the "director", aka the mother of the child that ran down my two year old, called me immediately to fire my children. She also felt the need to take the rest of my money for the week that i had paid in advance with no refund (4 days worth for 2 kids). In addition, she sent a letter to all child care providers within a 10 mile radius to not accept my children. Sad and pathetic. If you're okay with your child getting in trouble, but hers being coddled, then you will fit right in. In addition the 1st day my children were there, my 2 year old got kicked so hard in the head from someone swinging that she went flying mid air, and had a bandage the size of her arm with a bruise on her head. No one called me. The response will Im SURE be one that is insulting and unapologetic. Is this really where you want to take your child? Sooo unprofessional.
Older children are seen hitting the smaller ones. Caregivers are seen on cell phones while the abuse is happening. Children screaming at the top of lungs, caregivers actually scream back in same manner. This facility is poorly managed, dirty, children are dirty and abused. Spend hours, no less than 5 hrs or more daily, regardless of weather, outside. Cold and heat can be extreme, children are still outdoors while caregivers sit in doorways of facility. Do not recommend for other parents.
