If your child needs any kind of assistance due to a disability, do NOT go to Children’s Garden. The people that work there do not have the resources or the competence to deal with it. The director has no idea what it means to be a director. She cannot manage to follow the most simple safety protocols like have a sign in sheet ready for a new student on the day the student starts, be there to greet and answer questions for the parents . She was not even capable to inform their staff that a child is coming on date X, let alone inform them it has a disability and needs assistance. On one occasion, they sent her home with nothing but a t-shirt under her jacket because they washed her sweater to the point it was soaking wet as it had gotten paint on it. The paint did not come out but instead of putting on one of the spare pieces of clothes (which they required you to bring along to keep on the premises), they let my child go home like that in below freezing temps. Only course of action you have as a parent is to file a complaint with Colorado Department of Early Childhood - Child Care Licensing and Administration, which we did.
