Description:
Our goal at the Children’s Center is to provide a secure, loving and educational environment for all children and to provide peace of mind to all parents who entrust their children to our caring and nurturing staff. We accept all children as unique individuals and guide them in developing their full potential-socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively.
We work cooperatively with programs such as Frederick County Public Schools, Partnership for Emotionally Resilient Kids “PERKS”, Frederick County Infants and Toddlers, Child Find, the ARC, and more to ensure children of every ability are successful throughout their education.
Since 1987 the Children’s Center of Walkersville has served the needs of thousands of families in the Frederick County, Metro and Tri-State areas. We are a Veteran and family owned small business with a focus on community. We are proud to be licensed and accredited through the Maryland State Department of Education, as well as being a Maryland Excels Level 5 site. Our unique, flexible scheduling allows parents to choose preschool and childcare programs that best meet the needs of their family.
Our unique program offers:
Challenging and developmentally appropriate curriculum taught by experienced, certified staff.
Staff that are selected for their caring personalities and love of children in addition to their credentialing and experience.
An open visitation policy – parents are always welcome.
Secured exterior entrance and child care management system.
Competitive rates
A strong sense of family and community.
