Director states that during the period when the child was injured, one staff was actively supervising a group of kids on the opposite side of the room another staff had left to transitions children outside, and the director was signing children out to parents. There was not a staff person actively supervising the area where the child was injured. LS observed children leaving and coming into the child care space without staff knowledge or supervision during the investigation. Facility must review COMAR 13A.16.08.10A(2) with all staff and provide proof that all staff have reviewed the regulations for Child Supervision.
