We have been here a year, I have two children attending - one is in Pre-k and the other in older infant. They are happy to have my kids visit each other on occasion, as my older one likes to check in on little one.
From the start the staff here has been fantastic and attentive with any concern I have brought to them. I'm sure you've read in other reviews that they 'lost their license,' well we started when they were working on the provisional license, and they were very open and honest with me about it - now they have a standard license and I have not had a single concern. The new management is absolutely fantastic, the facility is very clean and well maintained, and my children have really become attached to their teachers - I get called Miss X by my Pre-schooler all the time and my little one loves her teacher so much, she really and truly does NOT CRY when I leave, I *might* be just a little jealous. I also love that they have an indoor play place for the older kids to get their energy out when it is snowing or too hot to go outside, and a splash pad for water play that both kids LOVE.
I really like the app they use to send daily updates, and use the Always Close By app to be able to check in on them throughout the day from work.
We have been at a few day cares in the area over the past 5 years, and have had to change due to the centers cutting their closing times. CoA is exactly what I needed in terms of closing time, and I have never been made to feel guilty or like a bother for having my kids stay after 6 pm due to my work schedule. One of my favorite things about this center is the activities they do to build CoA as a community - a really cute Fall Festival, Christmas Concert, Pre-K prom! And since I work late, they do it after the center closes so anyone and everyone can attend! I makes a huge difference to me that I feel like I am included and can attend my kids' parties. I really feel like the staff here is part of my family and am so very grateful we are here.
