The materials and equipment indoors and outdoors were not sufficient to provide a variety of play experiences to promote the children's emotional and social development, health and physical development, approaches to play and learning, language and communication development, and cognitive development. The older toddler room and Two's classroom did not have enough material accessible to children in care. Many shelves in the centers and book shelves were empty.

All floors and floor coverings were not constructed of nonabsorbant, easily cleanable material. The infant room flooring had two areas where the flooring has large gaps that are not easily cleanable.

All equipment and furnishings were not in good repair. Swing chains were observed rusted today. Boards around the stationary equipment were observed splintering on the PS/SA playground and cracked on the Two/Three playground.

A safe indoor and outdoor environment was not provided for the children. Outdoors I observed gumballs on all playgrounds and tree roots were sticking out of the ground on the Two/Three and PS/SA playground, which is considered a tripping hazard.

Outdoor play area was not enclosed by fence with a minimum height of 4 feet. The top of the fence, less than six feet, was not free from protrusions. Fencing separating play areas is a little less than 4' and is a chain link fence that is not flush at the top.

We absolutely love our daycare here. They are so attentive to our daughter, who has been there since she was 3 months old. On our first day they knew her by name when we walked in the door. Bless them!
