I would give this school less than 1 star if I could. Our experience was absolutely horrible. I would never recommend this preschool! Just because the staff attended the school does not make them qualified to care for children. They were inattentive, gossiping, or on their phones constantly, children were constantly wandering unattended. We switched to La Mesa United Methodist Children's Center and our experience there has been amazing. The teachers have up to 30 years experience. All are incredibly attentive!
My 4 year old daughter has been here for 6 months and LOVES IT!!! The teachers create a caring, supportive environment, which in turns fosters my daughter's curiosity, intelligence and independence! HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
The 1st week my 2 y/o fell causing scratched, swollen, bruised eyes, nose, & cheek. No call to me about my child s injury, her face looked horrible for a couple of weeks. Her 3rd, 5th, & 7th week she was out sick due to viruses fever of 102 & higher. The centers carpet where the children play and sleep was dirty. I had to take a lot of time off work on a brand new job, I had to make multiple Dr's visits with co-pays and medications to buy & had to pay double child care cost those weeks to the facility and to back up childcare. Daily I picked up child with very dirty snotty & crusted face. When speaking with the staff at the facilty they stated that you can expect the child to catch 1-2 viruses a month lasting about 10 days and after 3 or 4 months the child will get used it and they also agreed about the kids faces being dirty at the end of the day. I had to find alternative daycare 3 of the 7 weeks that my child was enrolled.
Great pre-school. My daughter has been attending for almost 3 years and she absolutely loves going to school! Her teacher's are great as is the rest of the staff and the center director, Liz. The teachers share lesson plans and keep journals on the kids to keep parents up to date and informed. Overall, totally satisfied and very happy with the education she is receiving!
