Centennial Place YMCA Chilcare services is the WORST of the WORST. I had nothing but trouble w/ my child in this facility from day 1. From bite marks on my childs arm, to BM on his pants-this facility and it's teachers are merely baby sitters. I witnessed children unattended in the Foxes room several times, children fighting, toys all over the floor, hazardous materials with in childs reach. One thing that really urked me, is that my child would always be returned to me as if he'd been playing in a barn all day, just filthy. I would literally have to bring 3 changes of clothes per week. We have had our child in daycare before and NEVER had the problems we had at this facility. The teachers don't care to inform you on your childs learning progress and honesly dont care if they learn or not. Oh and when brought up to the Director Pamela and lead teacher, i was basically told- I had to think about if I really wanted to leave my child at this facility; they never accepted fault. After 2 mos of trying this facility out, we called it quits and i am glad we did so. It's a shame bc this facility is really nice and has tons of potential. My opinion is they need to hire teachers who genuinely enjoy working with younger kids and who get fulfillment from their work bc their attitude shows in their work.
