About the Provider
Waterstone provides a high quality preschool program in a safe, fun environment for children 1 year old through Jr Kindergarten. We believe that all children are precious and that early childhood is a time to promote growth in all developmental areas. We believe that children learn in a variety of ways and strive to meet children where they are socially, emotionally, spiritually, physically, and academically. Our program is designed to meet the developmental needs of the whole child. Kids learn through large group activities, discovery centers, play, music, physical activity and socialization with teachers and peers. Our preschool and Jr Kindergarten programs are enriched with a kinesthetic method of teaching phonemic awareness, phonics, and pre-reading through ZooPhonics. Waterstone Preschool is licensed by the State of Colorado Department of Human Services and generally follows the Jefferson County school schedule. We offer classes Monday - Friday from 9:30am to 1:30pm, August through May.
