Long story short, high turnover, pays the staff peanuts, pastor soes not listen to directors when they are trying to improve the facility and staff. Staff did not teach. I have been trying to potty train for months and have told the staff repeatedly, yet she always was sesensesent home with soggy diapers. They are no longer affiliated with child care south and have closed down if that tells u anything.
I worked here with some more ladies and was lied on until I lost my job. Not by parent but by another teacher who may have been there 1 month but I saw for my self parents who had kids on child care south were treated terribly by Desiree. Susie did her best to keep this place going but that preacher wanted her to do unlawfully stuff for his benefit. I'm sorry but this place should never be allowed to care for children again. The church drained the bank account of the daycare. The old director Lisa has a nice amount saved. They fired her also on a lie. She was way better than Desiree. She looked out for the children and workers. She was fires because she wouldn't let the church tell her how to run the daycare or have the money. Now the money is gone and so is the daycare. Y'all should be ashamed. Y'all are liars and thieves.
DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE. I honestly should have left months ago, but they so accept Child Care South so it did help financially. Let's start with the turn-over rate. They can not keep a teacher or a director more than a month. The K-3 teacher my daughter had was only there when she felt like it, so my child never had a solid schedule. If her "teacher" was not there then she is left with a 12 year old who does not even look at them. I complained once about an afternoon employee who had no business being around children, and my child was immediately treated different. We have been there for two years (with no issues) and all of a sudden she was suspended for three days for bad behavior. They are dirty and sketchy and have no business taking care of children. My daughter came home filthy every day and starving. Every time you walk into the center it is chaotic. They let my child break a thermometer in her mouth and also run out the front door once. The current director is also a 12 year old and has no business directing anyone. This place is a joke.
there’s really no rating to say how HORRIBLE this facility its. My infant is starving when i get to her and thirsty but she still has cups in her bag. The building is filthy. The turnover rate is so high it makes me uncomfortable. Needless to say my rat couldn’t go here!
These ladies who work here are amazing my little boy was scared to go to daycare after leaving him here he loves all of them. He loves to come to daycare I can not thank these ladies enough for what that do. It takes a special person to work with children. I can come in at any time of the day and every time it's calm,clean and everyone is so nice. I would highly recommend this facility. My baby has learned so much. Potty trained with in a month!! ??????????????
This place is a joke! My kid comes home starving every day! One day my child had all of his bottles in his bag at the end of the day. He hadn’t had anything to eat ALL day. And all because his normal teacher was out for the day. Guess they forgot to train the new girl. Staffing changes daily. The director the main problem. How in the world is this place certified?! Absolutely ridiculous!
Let me correct. I give ZERO stars. I wouldn’t send a dead dog here. Can’t keep a consistent staff. Director doesn’t return phone calls. She let my son get bit 5 times in one week before she did anything. I paid for learning curriculum and my child hasn’t learned anything since she took over. She’s too worried about starting a pre school instead fixing the daycare issues first. Pastor and his staff are constantly talking down to the decent staff members that are left. I have no clue how this place is DHR certified. I feel bad for the kids that are left at this place every day!!!!
This place is a joke. If your child is on child care south your child does not matter. The only people or children who matter are members of this so called church. They do not feed children nearly enough and never let have seconds. The pantry is nearly always empty. They even scan child care south cards when children are absent just so they won't miss the days money. The director does not talk to parents unless you are involved with the church. She sends them to the assistant. The director has no clue what she is doing all she knows is to mind the members on the board of the church. One member of the church he is on the board and he is a bully who tries to intimidate women with his hateful rude words and attitude. They pay their employees nearly nothing but expect them on there hands and knees scrubbing. And if you work evening you are always over ratio. Way to many children for one teacher. And the directors exact words are evening does not matter Dhr will not come then.
This is one of the worst daycare centers I have ever used!! Parents Please beware of this place! Teachers change often,never stay there long! Food portion are very small and the children are Not Allowed to have seconds! My Child came home Everyday VERY DIRTY!!... And I have seen Babies stay in dirty diapers for hours...The Director Is Never Available for feedback or to share concerns!! So I would NOT RECOMMEND this place to Anyone....
I have been sending my son here for a few years now, and I absolutely LOVE it... He is Learning about God, and getting ready for K5. The staff is amazing, friendly, and care about the kids education. They talk to me about every day lessons and how he’s doing. I am so proud to say he will be able to start kindergarten with no problems.
I love working here, everyone is so nice.
Love this job been here for years. Love the staff everyone works well together. We love and care about every single kid here. Could not ask for a better job. The facility is clean and safe.
This facility is a mess. We share a building with a Big Lots and yet we are frequently out of the necessary supplies to keep the business running. The pay is a joke for the amount of labor expected from employees. Poor communication and direction from coworkers and supervisors.
