Description: Early childhood programs at CCFC are designed to provide children with opportunities to grow in every area of their development. Social, emotional, physical and cognitive abilities are promoted.
Young children learn about their world through play. At CCFC, we provide environments in which children explore materials, make choices, and develop their imaginations. Through interactions with one another and with their teachers, children receive encouragement, support and mutual understanding. These early experiences foster children’s sense of self, enhance their social and intellectual skills, and build the confidence necessary for later academic learning.
Nutritious meals are provided daily. They include breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. Meals are planned specifically for young children, and are designed to encourage children’s interest in health and nutrition.
Parent Involvement and Family Services are essential components of The Cross Cultural Family Center. Parent education, family support and mental health services are available for individuals and groups. Agency-wide family experiences provide opportunities for the CCFC community to enjoy the San Francisco Bay Area together and to become acquainted with family-based resources and events.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
