Description: We are passionate about providing low-cost, high quality child care and educational development to the families in northwest Ohio. The Catholic Club, located in downtown Toledo, is a non-profit, educational child care and family center open to everyone. The Catholic Club first opened its doors in 1942 under the direction of Monsignor Jerome Schmit who ran the facility for almost 50 years, offering many programs to children and families in Toledo. For the past 15 years, the Catholic Club has grown and gained community support under the direction of Paul Szymanski, Executive Director, and a dedicated staff. The Catholic Club is located at the corner of 16th St. and Jefferson Avenue in downtown Toledo and consists of three interconnected buildings that house childcare classrooms/activity rooms, an indoor heated pool, full sized gymnasium, meeting rooms, two outdoor playgrounds and much more.
