Care-a-lot Learning Center

Care-a-Lot Learning Center has been in existence since 1985. It is locally owned and operated by Julie Schmerge. All teachers are certified and qualified. We are a school year learning center, therefore, our school year runs from the last week of August until the middle of May.

We are licensed by the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services. We strive to help each child develop his or her own personality, and broaden and extend his/her interest, curiosity, creativity, and social interactions. Your child will learn in our Christian atmosphere as they grow socially, emotionally, intellectually, physically, and spiritually. We encourage a positive attitude towards school and learning. Through our innovative lessonplans, we develop positive self-esteem, broaden imaginations, and instill and "I can" attitude.

We offer quality preschool and pre-kindergarten classes for children ages 3-5 years. The classes are two days per week for 2 1/2 hours each day. Classes are available on Monday & Wednesday mornings, Monday & Wednesday afternoons, or Tuesday & Thursday mornings. Once enrolled your child and siblings will have a preferred spot during re-regristration for the following school year. Call the center for current rates.

Registration for the next fall is always the first Saturday in March. It is held at Care-a-Lot beginning at 9 a.m.
