I believe that children should learn while playing. Through hands-on learning they will enjoy their "work" and therefore be able to concentrate better in other activities. I provide a home-away from home atmosphere where everyone learns to respect each other. I feel talking, listening, and laughing with my kids throughout the day is very important. Feeling secure and good about themselves at this age is the foundation for their coping with the many school years they have to look forward to. Child care / Preschool homes are an extension of your family to ours. It is important to me that children in my care learn not only age appropriate academics (ABC's, 123's, colors, and shapes) but they also learn how to develop relationships, social skills, sensory play, and how to be a good friend. I participate in A Child's Choice Food Program. My daycare provides federally approved snacks and meals. I have references available upon request.
I am fully licensed through the state of Colorado, with current CPR and First Aid training. I am conveniently located right off I-25 and Highway 52. I own my home that is within walking distance to the the park, rec center, and Thunder Valley K-8.
